Norristown, PA (December 11, 2018) - The Montgomery Bar Foundation continues to seek new ways to serve its mission to “improve, facilitate and support justice and fair treatment for all.” In the past couple of years, through new programs such as the Eviction Prevention and Intervention Coalition (“EPIC”) and two Access to Justice Summits, the Foundation has broadened its reach and enhanced its ability to serve those in need through improved communication and collaboration.  Although Foundation trustees are dedicated to developing new and innovative approaches to serve its mission, it remains committed to its founding purpose of providing grants to deserving community partners supporting the cause of justice throughout Montgomery County.

Celebrating that work, Foundation trustees gathered on Monday, December 10th for their annual holiday luncheon, where they presented grant awards to this year’s worthy recipients.  As a result of growing partnerships resulting from events like the Foundation’s Access to Justice Summits, the Foundation received more applications than ever before. Inspired by the important and groundbreaking work being done by each applicant organization, trustees look forward to working with each of them in the coming year, regardless of whether or not they received a grant award.

The 2018 Montgomery Bar Foundation grant recipients were:

Family Services
Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania
Montgomery Child Advocacy Project
SeniorLAW Center
Women’s Center
Your Way Home
